Cabello is an artist who finds it vital to mix mediums in order to find a harmony, especially with photography, digital arts, and printmaking.  He has strong roots in the arts that contribute to his work today; his grandfather was a musician and his father a graffiti artist.  These influences resonate in Cabello’s work, specifically within the distinct relationship between order and chaos.  Studying art history, discussing art with loved ones, and listening to music are a major part of his process; his work is heavily inspired by Kandinsky and the Russian avant-garde movement, De Stijl, Duchamp and the Dada movement, and Lichtenstein and the people he works alongside.  His work contemplates the artists he studies, focusing on the concept of the found object.  It is his ultimate goal that the viewer finds understanding while dissecting the controlled dichotomies of his work.  Recently, he has been exploring the intricacies of glitch art and hopes it will act as a bridge between his studio work and his digital work.
